Radix Review July 2025
Welcome back to the Radix Review, your monthly source for the latest product updates, research releases, and platform enhancements across the Radix ecosystem.
In June, we deepened the connections between Radix and Radix Underwriting, giving users streamlined access to vital market context within their underwriting workflow through the direct integration of Radix Research. RealRents also received major updates, and with our June Forecast Report now live, we’re continuing to equip the industry with timely data and insights to drive smarter decisions. Let’s dive in.
Radix Research now in Radix Underwriting
Radix Research is now fully integrated into redIQ, giving multifamily professionals direct access to dynamic market insights within their underwriting workflow. This powerful addition eliminates the need to toggle between tools or rely on static, outdated PDF reports by embedding four key reports—focused on rental trends, employment, housing affordability, and construction pipelines—directly into Radix Underwriting.
Radix Research empowers multifamily acquisition teams to go beyond property-level data and evaluate broader market dynamics that can impact deal performance. Identify potential downside risks—such as upcoming apartment deliveries in the pipeline—and adjust your strategy or investment thesis proactively. Use insights on market-level occupancy numbers to refine your revenue projections with greater accuracy. You can also assess employment trends to gauge future demand, helping you prioritize deals in markets with stronger fundamentals and long-term growth potential.
This integration deepens the value Radix Underwriting users receive from Radix products, bringing a totally new component and experience into the Radix Underwriting workflow, all reliant on data from trusted sources including Radix Analytics, BLS, Radian, and BuildCentral. This also brings Radix one step closer to a seamless, end-to-end multifamily analysis experience.

More Clarity, More Control: Updates to RealRents
Consumer-facing updates
The latest release of RealRents introduces several consumer-facing enhancements designed to make apartment searches more transparent, personalized, and informative.
Prospects can now filter listings by multiple bedroom counts, relevance, price, match score, or square footage, and choose to view only Verified properties—those with recently confirmed fees and concessions. Visual tags now highlight concessions in listing photos, and tooltips clearly explain Verified vs. Not Verified statuses, including regulatory details like unit number, lease terms, and all fees. New features also include Soundscore integration, dynamic pricing visibility that scrolls with users, and a clearer breakdown of available amenities.
Operator-facing updates
On the operator side, RealRents now delivers a redesigned dashboard that gives property managers and admins greater control over listings. Operators can now verify their property status, manage unit-level photos and amenities, and advertise non-rent-based concessions directly to prospects.
The new landing page provides a centralized hub to update descriptions, track unit availability and concession trends, manage floorplans with role-based permissions, and edit amenity details at both property and unit levels. These updates aim to streamline listing management and improve listing quality, making RealRents a more powerful platform for both renters and property operators.
June Forecast Report Released
Radix has released the latest edition of our Forecast Report, an essential tool for near-term budget planning and refining long-term investment strategy. At the halfway mark of 2025, the data provides valuable insight into how the year is unfolding compared to expectations, and what lies ahead.
So far, the U.S. market is trailing slightly behind projections, with national occupancy reaching 93.7% by the end of June, falling short of the expected 94.2%. Rent growth is also underperforming, sitting at just 1.0% annually. A mix of elevated supply and softer job growth, particularly across many Sunbelt markets, continues to weigh on national averages. Looking to the remainder of the year, occupancy is expected to decline modestly due to seasonal trends, while rent growth will likely remain steady.
The Forecast Report is updated every month and will soon be available directly in Radix Underwriting, alongside other Radix Research reports.
